Connor pressed his hands to the glass of the window. The hotel room was perfectly warm but he shivered none the less.
It was so typical of him to finally fall in love with two people who he couldn’t stay with.
Spencer left tomorrow to return to the BAU and Zach was following a few hours later back to the Jeffersonian and as much as he wanted to Connor couldn’t follow them. The anomalies and his work was here just as theirs was in the US.
He wondered if they’d stay together, Quantico and DC weren’t that far apart, Connor hates himself for the fact that he wishes they wouldn’t. He can’t bear to think of them together without him, it makes a cold curl of jealousy build in his chest and hot bile prick at his throat.
A hand on his shoulder brings him back to the present. Zach is smiling a little shyly, still a little unsure. Connor smiles a little sadly back and presses a kiss to his lips.
“You’re thinking about tomorrow.” Spencer’s voice is quiet and sure.
Connor just reaches a hand out to the taller man and pulls him close. He kisses Spencer when he tries to speak again.
“Please don’t. Not yet.”
Spencer relents and wraps an arm around Connor’s waist, hand gently stroking the skin underneath his shirt. Zach rests a hand on Spencer’s shoulder as he leans into kiss Connor again.
The kiss is sad, soft and bittersweet but with the underlying passion that got them into this in the first place.
Connor took a deep breath before leading Zach and Spencer away from the window. He lets his weight pull them down onto the bed.
As clueless as they collectively were they still knew enough to decide to leave the sadness for tomorrow and to spend their time creating the only thing that would last for them, memories.
Peeling off Spencer’s shirt always felt slightly like blasphemy, the pure paleness of his skin hidden under layers of clothes.
Zack was helping him out of his shirt as Spencer leant up to help Zach, it was a beautiful pattern and Connor couldn’t look away.
Zach always paused a moment before doing anything, as if someone would tell him to stop at any moment. When he finally did he’d smile as though the opportunity to touch either of them was the greatest gift he’d ever received.
Connor’s fingers trailed up Zach’s chest, tweaking his nipples before spreading warm and wide across his shoulders.
Connor had never thought that he’d ever be in a relationship where he was the most normal, or the most open, and while five days might not make a relationship to most people, this was it for him, this was his moment where everything fell into place and you found that person or in his case people. And now he was going to have to lose it, and he knew that, he knew that there was no picket fence in their future and so he just focused on the now, something he was becoming increasingly good at.
Zach had turned his attention to Spencer who was sprawled out on his back looking dishevelled and just slightly baffled. His fly was just slightly open, the folded edges of his pants lying dark against the pale spread of his hip bones.
Connor mouthed against the soft skin above Spencer’s underpants and Zach caught the resulting moan with a demanding kiss that Spencer finally broke with a pant.
Zach was undoing his own pants in the slightly shy way he had that was so alluring. Connor tucked his fingers into the waistband of Spencer’s underpants and pulled both them and his pants down, Spencer lifting his hips helpfully.
Connor didn’t think he had the patience or self control for slow tonight. He took Spencer in with one long suck, warm and smooth, hand on Spencer’s hip to hold down the instinctual buck.
Zack was working Connor’s pants down his hips and Connor lifted one knee then the other so Zack could, dramatically, throw them into a corner.
He wasn’t surprised when the first finger breeched him, he’d been expecting it, Zach preferred not to be watched and Connor was okay with that.
He kept his attention on Spencer, enjoying the lean body twitching under his mouth and the quietly needy noises Connor is sure he didn’t know he was making.
Zach’s hand was shaking a little on his hip as he pushed in a second finger. Connor groaned as Zach found his prostate and Spencer bucked into his mouth at the vibrations.
Zach was pushing in a third finger and Connor was starting to press back, they had a strange sort of rhythm going with the three of them.
Connor heard a condom crinkle and waited for Zach to press up against him. He pushed back against the pressure, Zach would never make the first move and trembled as Zack followed the movement, pressing into him by slow increments.
Spencer was close, Connor could feel the twitches in the muscles as Spencer held himself back become more random and his breath started coming in pants.
Zach’s hands were framing his hips and Connor’s face was all but buried in Spencer’s crotch.
Connor knew he’d be last to finish, everything was still too new for Zach to have any kind of control and Spencer was already to far gone.
He knew it, even as Zach’s thrusts were getting ragged Spencer made a noise that was more exhale than moan and came, hands fisting in the sheets.
Spencer lay there for a moment looking debauched and gorgeous, all long limbs and big eyes before sliding down the bed to lie beside Connor.
He slid his hand down Connor’s hip as Connor turned his head to watch him.
Zach bit down lightly on the back of his neck the same time as Spencer gripped his cock and Connor moaned into the mattress.
Connor isn’t sure what he did to deserve this but as Zack’s thrusts still and he slumps over Connor’s back, hand trailing down to rest against Spencer’s cheek he wishes he knew so he could do it again.
Coming feels like a goodbye, the loss of reality for just that moment feels like an ending and even as Zach curls up next to him and Spencer cleans them off before lying down too Connor knows that this is the end.

Oh god, that was a sad line, but gorgeous, gorgeous fic, even though I don't know the other two involved, but I felt I knew them after reading, if you take my meaning.

I'm glad you liked it.

The caution and shyness of Zach is superb, it's just like he is on the show. Spencer...wow...I would never had thought to pair him with these two but he fits, they're like him. A misfit in a group of people who all seem to have the same message flashing on their screens.
Connor + Spencer + Zach = OTP

I do love the pairing, even if they do make me write sad fic, and they do, i actually had very little to do with the writing of this fic, it just sort of happened while i was watching.
