I'm Australian which means that i'm always half a season to a season behind everyone else which royally sucks. But for moments like this it's good. 
Most people, especially my slash friends have been squeeing about Torchwood to me...........and now!
IT STARTS ON THE 18TH!!!! *flails* The hotness and the canon slash and that really hot kiss with a military guy that I spoiled myself on. *dies* 
*breathes* right...moving on...also Uni just finished for the semester and I never, ever, ever want to do another science unit in my life *headdesk* I just hope i passed.

I've heard of Torchwood... but I don't know what channel it comes on. I tried looking for it on NetFlix, but it wasn't there. Can you give me some details about it?

Torchwood is a spinoff of Doctor Who. Have you watched Dr Who? Jack was on the first season of the new Doctor Who, with Christopher Eccleston playing the Doctor. Torchwood is mentioned several times in Doctor Who, as it is an agency for the observation of aliens coming to Earth. So that's what Torchwood is about. A group of people who watch out for alien activity.

And... no... it's not really anything like Queer as Folk. There are no graphic gay sex scenes although there are several seriously hot kisses. I was disappointed by the lack of gay sex scenes. We got a couple of rather graphic het scenes though.

It's really really brilliant.

In Aus it's on channel 10, it's a spin off from Doctor Who, but without the tardis or a Doctor. One of the minor characters from the new Dr Who Jack is the main character in Torchwood, and from what i've gathered they, Jack and his team, investigate things that happen because of rips in space/time.

TESS! It's absolutely and UTTERLY FUCKING AWESOME. Steph sent it to me and me and auxetoiles23 watched all 13 eps in one day. It's just that good. If I could burn stuff, I would totally send it to you cos you gotta watch it RIGHT NOW.

It's evil and enabling though... cos I wrote Jack/Ianto. *facepalms* God, it's so awesome. seriously. I really need to get some more Torchwood icons. I wish i could have more than 15 icons... cos it's really damned hard to choose!

And... well, I would send you my copy... but I need to rewatch it. And... rewatch it... and maybe again. lol.

You really don't need a new obsession do you? But it's allways nice to see you infected by something new. *grin* i'll watch it as it comes on TV it'll probobly be best in small doses. Otherwise i might die from hotness overload.
